David has written professionally for metro-boulot-dodo since 1997 (he is still an artistic collaborator to this day). For MBD he’s written everything from theatre, to historical tours, to kids shows, to poetry about bricks. The years writing for MBD have given David a certain amount of creative discipline and the ability to collaborate with others.
Outside of MBD his personal writing is just as prolific. He has written and performed a comedy show called “Dave Explodes”, a comedy podcast, his lyrics of course, poetry and various other projects over the years. A huge learning curve occurred for David in the early naughties when he wrote a children’s novel, “The Nose That Nobody Picked”.
David is currently looking for representation for his brain injury memoir “Tea bags, Soap, Be Normal”.
