The old Leicesterite treated us to a visit in the one week we had of SUMMER. I put her up and we walked, chatted, drank and generally got in trouble. We also wrote a song. It was inspired by some of Helen’s writing and a new painting project she is working on (“Down” looking at reflections in water). Once we had the idea it was just a case of bashing it out together.
It was a hell of a week with many unusual and surprising moments. Time with this creative, thoughtful, exciting, chaotic and prolific woman is never boring!
